Many Ways to Build
There is no shortage of design firms, machining shops, OEM manufacturers, and mold makers.
REDUCE PRODUCT TECHNOLOGY
Anyone can build a product. What matters is how efficiently it can be built.
There are many development firms, manufacturers, and OEM suppliers. But few partners analyze the structure, components, specifications, manufacturing methods, and supply chain together to reduce cost and improve manufacturing efficiency. We do not simply build products. We optimize them so the same purpose and performance can be achieved at a more rational cost.
WHY OPTIMIZATION
There are many one-stop development and manufacturing providers. We start with the next question.
“Can this product or equipment achieve the same purpose and performance more efficiently?”
There is no shortage of design firms, machining shops, OEM manufacturers, and mold makers.
The problem is that fragmented processes allow unnecessary cost to accumulate across specifications, structure, manufacturing methods, and suppliers.
We do not add another vendor. We review the entire product, improve cost and efficiency, then connect only the engineering and manufacturing that are actually needed.
ABOUT
Keep what creates value. Reduce unnecessary cost and inefficiency.
REDUCT is a name built around the idea of Reduce Product Technology. We are a technology consulting and R&D company that analyzes the cost structure of products and industrial equipment and optimizes engineering, development, and manufacturing methods.
We review structure, components, electronic specifications, manufacturing methods, and supply chains at the project level while preserving target performance and quality. Part redesign, OEM sourcing, hardware and firmware development, mechanical engineering, industrial design, and mold design/manufacturing are execution tools for that work.
WHAT WE OPTIMIZE
Optimization is the objective. Engineering, development, and manufacturing are the means used to implement it. We analyze the cost structure first, then execute only what is necessary.
We analyze structure, part count, specifications, manufacturing methods, and supply conditions together to identify cost drivers and redesign opportunities.
Mechanical engineering, industrial design, hardware, firmware, and tooling are developed around target performance and target cost.
CNC machining, sheet metal, welding, prototypes, molds, OEM production, and injection molding are connected through the manufacturing process best suited to the project.
CAPABILITY
We do not treat each discipline as a separate service. The required capabilities are combined around one objective: making the product simpler, easier to manufacture, and more cost-efficient.
Cost Drivers / Architecture
Structure / Mechanical Design
Product / CMF / Visualization
Electronics & Device Control
DFM / Validation
Mold / Production Structure
HOW WE OPTIMIZE
We do not start by manufacturing. We first identify why the cost exists, redesign the structure, and then validate manufacturability, quality, and supply conditions.
Review structure, parts, specifications, process, and sourcing conditions as one system.
Separate overspecification, unnecessary complexity, inefficient processes, and supply-related cost drivers.
Redesign part count, geometry, assembly method, electronic specifications, and manufacturing process while maintaining required performance.
Match the design with the right CNC, sheet metal, mold, OEM, or injection-molding supply chain.
Validate cost, quality, productivity, and sourcing conditions before execution.
WHERE WE OPTIMIZE
Cost is not determined by purchase price alone. It accumulates across structure, parts, electronics, manufacturing processes, and the supply chain.
Simplify architecture, fastening, assembly, and unnecessary geometry.
Reduce part count, standardize components, review substitutes, and lower machining difficulty.
Optimize PCB, sensors, motors, power, and communication specifications around required functions.
Review CNC, sheet metal, welding, tooling, and molding processes.
Compare and restructure OEM, machining, mold, and molding suppliers.
CASE STUDY
Project identities remain confidential. Only outcomes that can be disclosed are summarized below.
We reviewed the cost structure and sourcing conditions for heat-resistant glass used in decoction equipment and optimized the specification and supply conditions.
The design was revised to reduce welding operations and the number of machined parts. Assembly structure and machined geometry were simplified to lower machining cost.
MANUFACTURING NETWORK
Rather than owning every process, we select the process and supplier that best fit the product and volume.
